Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer, you will transition from simple pipeline management to high-level strategic consulting. You will help our clients across Finance, Pharma, MedTech, Manufacturing, and the Public Sector turn raw data into a competitive advantage, ensuring every solution is built with Swiss-standard reliability and precision.

• End-to-End Execution: Lead the design, construction, and management of large-scale, resilient data pipelines and cloud-native architectures.

• Consultative Engineering: Act as a technical advisor to clients, translating complex business intelligence needs into scalable backend infrastructure.

• Performance Optimization: Proactively troubleshoot and resolve pipeline bottlenecks to ensure high-velocity data flow and system reliability.
• Security & Compliance Leadership: Implement rigorous data security best practices, including encryption and strict adherence to GDPR and the Swiss nFADP.
• Collaborative Integration: Work within multicultural, cross-functional teams to integrate data products into broader project ecosystems, ensuring 100% data accuracy.

• Experience: 3–5 years of proven expertise in Data Engineering or Backend Software Development.

• Cloud Architecture: Hands-on experience building and managing cloud-native data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.

• Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, with deep knowledge of Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.

• Orchestration Tooling: Professional experience with modern tools like Apache Airflow or dbt Cloud.

• Analytical Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving in complex, high-stakes environments.
